The new AccuLoop has extremely low self-discharge compared to conventional NiMH batteries. Example: if charged today, AccuLoop will store this energy content for about 1 year with only 15-25% loss of performance (conventional NiMH batteries often lose their charge after just a few weeks or months). Therefore, this new NiMH+ AccuLoop-X battery is almost fully operational even after 6-9 months, for example. Gone are the days of constantly empty batteries, even though they have not even been used.
